Please join us May 30, 2026 for a “Two Views” Seminar with instruction given by Roberto “Bob” Garza Shihan and Lisa Tomoleoni Shihan. This event will be held at A Center for the Martial Arts, 10717 S Roberts Rd, Palos Hills, IL 60465. All affiliations and experience levels are welcome!
For the future development of Aikido, it's important to strengthen our community and build relationships between dojo and people that transcend organizational boundaries.
With this in mind we are holding this one day event, with the goal being to bring our community together for a day of training followed by social time (and food and beverage!).
(It’s our intention to have a series of seminars such as this, in various locations, and we hope people will support this endeavor for the future growth of Aikido.)

Roberto “Bob” Garza Shihan, 6 Dan, Director and Chief Instructor
Sosei Aikido Kyokai and A Center for the Martial Arts – Soseikan Dojo.
Garza Sensei was introduced to the martial arts while serving in the United States Marine Corp in 1977. While in the USMC he studied Hwa Rang Do, a Korean art and was also introduced to Aikido by a fellow member of the USMC. Garza Sensei has continued his studies since those days. Garza Sensei spent many years under Fumio Toyoda Shihan and his senior Yudansha.
After leaving that organization Garza Sensei was contacted by other former members and formed Sosei Aikido Kyokai. A small but unified Aikido community keeping the traditions of Fumio Toyoda Shihan while still advancing our study of Aikido.
